December 2012: "The Idea", Christmas Mood

This month's "The Idea" will be about How to get into the Christmas mood!

Because it Christmas eve (and i know I should've had posted this blog post earlier),
I have an idea of how you can easily get into the christmas mood even if you have no idea what to do for x-mas, or if you don't really celebrate, here are some ideas to brightened up a mood ready for christmas ;)
 Or at least be inspired in some way...

CHRISTMAS MOOD~

~During The 1st - 15th of December....

You can..

*SET UP THE CHRISTMAS TREE!

Yes, That Christmas Tree should be set up! If you really want to remind yourself its x-mas!

*WRITE CHRISTMAS CARDS

Don't worry about getting your family and friends gifts, write them a small card of thanks and merry christmas!

*DRAW CHRISTMAS PICTURES
Hey don't sweat about how good or bad you may be, A picture is enlightening and expressive. And everyone appreciates a picture!

*BAKE COOKIES OR CAKE
Nothing is better than x-mas cookies and cakes, Who would hate 'em??

*SET UP HOUSE LIGHTS/ DECOR
Best way to celbrate and remind yourself its x-mas is to set up those lights around your house and decorate!
Why not put a stocking with lollies up or two?

~During 15th-23rd December

*NIGHT WALK
Go with your family or friends and walk around your neighbourhood at night! Look for those houses with Christmas lights and take photos, as well as enjoy the refreshing cool breeze!

*VISIT OUTINGS
 May be busy, yes, perhaps, but still worth going out to cafe's and cities, to see what they've decorated and to take photos with family and friends, and hey we can't forget Santa who sits in the mall! And maybe you might want to go out for a BBQ during the outing at a large park perhaps?

*BUY PRESENTS
Not necessarily expensive ones, but presents that you want to give those who are special to you. Home made presents are the best! (A future "Idea" blog may be posted about Gift Ideas)

*VISIT FRIENDS AND RELATIVES
Time to visit those friends and relatives! At this time, you can catch up with them as well as organise the event while you're catching up! Talk about hitting a bird with two stones!

*PREPARE EVENTS
Events, maybe you may host an x-mas party? Or maybe you might be going to a friends to celebrate? Its better off to organize the event at this moment of time.

Time has come to celebrate!

*FOOD
Food is one of the important traditions, and its not just the honey ham or the bon bons that play a role in christmas, remeber the pudding, prawn cocktails, something truly traditional and exotic C;

*PRESENTS
Buy your Presents, Recieve 'Em! What's better than the day you open that present?

*FRIENDS/FAMILY
Now is the ultimate time to celebrate!

*SAY GOOD BYE TO THE CURRENT YEAR
This year is about to end, so its also time to say good bye to it.

"Kimi Ni Todoke" Anime Review

This is my first review on blog! So i hope you like it!

 Kimi Ni Todoke has 2 seasons.
Season 1:  25 episodes
Season 2:  12 episodes

Genres: Romance, School Life, Slice of Life, A bit of comedy.

Kimi Ni Todoke's Story surrounds around school life and romance that takes place during school times. The main character, Sawako Kuronuma looks like the scary girl from "The Ring" - "Sadako" but really she is shy and timid. She struggles to fit in school due to her shyness and dull and frightening appearance. However her life is brightened by the ever so popular, Kazehaya Shouta, who takes interest in Sawako. The Story will unfold as new Sawako begins to fit in to her school and romance springs up between both Kazehaya and Sawako.

STORY:    5.5 / 10    
(WARNING : MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS)

To me The story, was not bad, but it wasn't as good as I thought either. If there was more twists and shocking events, I would've took more interest. But the Story is very refreshing and it is full of happy moments and small twists and turns.. lots of misunderstandings that will give you many face palm moments. It is the story for the sensitive types of people and also those who like the enjoy a small anime about school and romance from time to time. It is a quick watch and i finished quickly. It can be pretty clique though, but it was satisfying. Though i had to admit, I wish Kazehaya and Sawako feel in love later in the story and had some interesting relations to build on that, but i guess it is my preference. I thought when they both liked each other that it happened way too quickly, and something should've build up before that. Anyway, If you love to squeal of cuteness when you see a shy boy and shy girl go at each other, this is one anime for you! and if you love the school drama's, chances is this anime will be a short, satisfying watch on the go! '

MUSIC/SOUNDTRACK :  9 / 10

The music is truly refreshing and fits the anime really well. Because thats what the anime really is... Refreshing! It is so cheerful there is not many sad, depressing moments! The music is really nice to listen to and very peaceful to the ear. The music is soothing and I thought it suited the mood of the anime and really fitted well with the scenes in the anime and character themes.

GRAPHIC / ANIMATION  :  7.5 / 10

The Drawings do suit the anime, and are cute to look at. The drawings are nice, however it is not my preference so much, I do prefer something a little more digital, but the animation and anime drawing of characters were nicely done for the anime. It gave a refreshing atmosphere and it suits the anime well.

CASTING :  10 / 10

The voice acting, always superb! It was also enjoyable as the voice acting was so natural and put depth and emotion to the anime even more. I was a little shcoked when i realiaze Mamoru Miyano voiced Miura and Aya Hirano voiced Kurumi in the anime, because they did a brilliant a job, I didn't even notice it was them! Sawako's Voice, Mamiko Noto did an excellent job on the voice acting, it suited her personality really well, the shy and timid voice. As for Kazehaya, the voice, was cute and Daisuke Namikawa did a great job at the shy yet refreshing voice of Kazehaya. I was able to enjoy the emotional parts of thee anime even more thanks to the voice acting!

Overall, Kimi Ni Todoke, is a nice anime to watch, though it isn't my favourite anime that I wouldn't mind watching over and over again, rather it is the anime that i enjoy watching from time to time, when i wish to enjoy a short summer anime to watch, something about life and school romance ^_^

But this anime is great if you want a quick watch and like to enjoy a slice of life and some school romance drama as well as shy love. It is also great if you want a quick romance story and also good if you're sensitive as it will not give you major heartbreaks or up and down's, rather it will give huge face palm moments with ridiculous misunderstandings in the story. But This is for people who love anime casually ;)

5 Youtubers I Enjoyed Back Then

5 YOUTUBERS I USED TO ENJOY! :D
I'm not saying i don't enjoy these youtubers now, but i just don't watch them as much as I used to; though I try to watch a video every now and then. Its just I have so much to do, but I remember these youtubers would be so enjoyable to watch! I would end up watching most of their videos from their channels! and if I enjoyed them, I think you might enjoy them too :D

1. PSYCHADELICSNAKE

I remember how much I loved watching this guy's walkthroughs.  It gets me every time when I hear him scream! But I love watching his walkthroughs, as he reads well, and is really funny with the jokes as he plays each game. Snake makes horror game walkthroughs and other game walkthroughs as well as gives reactions to viral games or videos which is funny to look at. Snake is a really cool person, and I used to enjoy watching his videos as it would make me laugh. The First time I saw one of his videos was when I was looking up a Silent Hill 3 Walkthrough, as I was stuck on some stage, but finding Snake's, I couldn't help but watch the whole walkthrough instead of the partial part I needed. So it just tells how enjoyable it was to watch his videos! :D

2. SMOSH

Smosh, as mainstream and popular they've become, I really loved watching their videos. Something about them was original and creative. They had raw humour and what they do is original and very unique. I find lots copy them, but they do such an awesome job in putting together very funny and creative videos. To me, I think, Who doesn't like Smosh? They're so likable! I used to enjoy their food battles and their "In Real Life" Videos! ^_^

3. JANOSKIANS

At first I wasn't so interested in them, I though "Hmm, What they do is kind of stupid", but hey their videos grew on me. Next minute, I was watching their videos, And hey, They weren't as bad. I loved their daresunday videos the best as well as I found their mockumentaries very entertaining to watch. What I like about them is that they're very natural in front of camera. And also that they have guts to do such things in the public. Anyhow, If you're into public pranks, Janoskians are one to watch!

4. DARKSYDEPHIL (DSP)

DSP's game walkthroughs are so awesome!! They are just funny to watch, and also helpful at the same time. If anything else besides Phil's Jokes that I find funny, its probably his hilarious laugh. I also enjoy his PS Move gameplays like the "Tv SuperStars". For watching his gameplays, I watch the game walkthoughs of games i've played or got stuck on before, but i'm pretty sure, All of DSP's walkthorughs are funny and helpful to watch.


5. MYCHONNY
--> MYCHONNY'S YOUTUBE CHANNEL

Mychonny was so funny to watch! I think it was funny in my perspective in ways i can relate to asian drama and asian families! Mychonny's Videos are original and hilarious. He creates his videos based on Asian Life and the way Asians live in general. You'll probably like him if you're asian, but even if you weren't, he'll still be funny to watch.

Childhood Faves (December 2012 Edition) : The Papa Louie Games

In the last Childhood Faves, I went on about how cooking games were one of my favourite type of games as a child. But I shall speak of the PAPA LOUIE GAMES this month! These ones I love are cooking games, however has a fun twist to it. There is a series of games which follow and simply its about customer's orders. Its pretty fun and sometimes revisiting and playing it now is still fun. I have an ipad app of one the games, It just reminds me so much of how much I used to love these games.

There are however big pros and cons of the game. One major CON is the game is repetitive and can get boring after a while. However The game's PRO's outweigh the cons though. The PRO's are that you can improve your shop as the game proceeds, and you can save your game so that you don't have to start again (how ever be warned, the save file only works if you are on the same computer and same website you created the game file in- so if you're on the same game but different website, your save file won't be there)

Also I've found some cheats to some of these PAPA LOUIE games, ways you can serve your customers so fast. Not exactly cheats, maybe better tactics. So look out for  a new posts about these tactics.

So now, when you're in school, chilling with computers, or just bored at home, play a link off the Childhood Faves, Such as The PAPA LOUIE games or COOKING games to relieve your boredom for next hour or two.

Childhood Faves : The Cooking Games

"Childhood Faves!" which will be posted every month or two, which goes back to a childhood favourite of mine. November's childhood fave which I picked out are cooking games!

Since I was a child, Cooking games were fun to play around with and always stimulated my mind and appetite (does it do that to you?)
Even Now, I still remember my favourite cooking games on the net, and sometimes when i eat food i feel like revisiting them. Though I hardly play them anymore, last time I did, was probably around 6 years ago.

But playing them a lot as a kid stayed in my long term memory, and for some reason they're now in my head.. and I need to get it out... How? MY PIT OF WONDERS! And that's where I'll throw it to get it out of my mind.

5. Yamato Nadeshiko (Wall Flower)

The storyline of this anime was really nice! I loved the whole storyline and the whole sweetness of it. Though the drawings were slightly disturbing, The story outweighed the whole anime drawing look. Just watch the anime for the amazing romantic story if you're disturbed by the drawings haha. A sports anime, about football and we witness Sena, Who a fast runner, but a slight wimp make it through a long journey of football from school matches to world finals. A Hilarious anime for those into comedy and one that loves strategy :)

This is by far one of the best animes I have watched! So Funny and Entertaining! And believe it or not, all is it is, is about bread! You can watch either Exo K or Exo M's History Music Video; History has the most awesome dance! and The boys look hot with their outfits! Especially the pockets! Haha (most probably the only part of the dance I know)  But History by Exo is awesome, catchy and simply amazing. Their dance is inspiring and really cool! >.<

4.  TROUBLE MAKER - Hyunseung (B2ST) & Hyuna (4Minute)

What can I say about this one? It's simply sexy! The Dance and all that touching! It really sexy to the point you squeal! Both Hyuna and Hyunseung have done excellent in promoting the sexiness and mysteriousness to the video, which makes the video interesting and yes... i'll say it again.. SEXY! The music is also really catchy and has really nice tune.

5. YOU & I - IU

One of my favourite music videos! IU looks really cute and the video is really cute and so breath taking with the setting sending you into fantasy-like atmosphere. The story is very cute with its fantasy visuals, the storyline bases on IU buliding a time machine, and a puppet boy who doesn't wake up. The music is so sweet and the vocals are simply amazing. Go IU!

6. Abracadabra - Brown Eyed Girls

This Video is so sexy and so catchy! The Music and Dance are hypnotizing! After Watching the whole Video, I found the song growing on me, and it really caught my attention big time, And all the sudden I'm listening to the song on repeat on my portable music player. Brown Eyed Girls Is a great group and Abracadabra is one of my favourite songs from Brown eyed Girls!

This is one cute and catchy song! Its so adorable to watch one girl fight other girls just to get one guy! and the music is really catchy! I honestly found the video very cute and the whole school theme really suited it!

This video has so much energy! It brings so much positiveness and energy.. it makes you want to danceeeee!
The music is catchy and the vocals are really nice to listen to. What makes this an awesome K-pop video is how it wants to make me dancceeeee! ;D

If I were to give a scale of cuteness for these boys, I'd say 10! These boys are so adorable and their singing is so subtle and soft, it gentle touches your heart :3

IPAD FUN APPS! (Reblogged)

Let's start off with the ipad, excited to say, my brother got an ipad. He brought it himself. i only borrow it for games... like sims. C:
So just wanting to talk about the ipad.. oh yeah if you don''t know what an ipad looks like.. you need to get updated with technology! there's so many new stuff out!

ANYWAY, the ipad is great. You can access the internet and do so many things. Great technology.  but what i love is the games (yeah, i'm such a kid)
but the games...! And I can recommend three good ipad game apps that will keep you playing for hours maybe days if you enjoy it so much! :D

1. Sally's Salon.  It is fun! I enjoyed when I was young and still enjoy it. It's great when you just have your ipad and you're bored... you can start playing it. :D  and if you like sally's salon, be sure to try Sally's Spa! It is fun on the ipad, (there should be a review on it amongst the other links) ;D

Interesting Astrology?

Not exactly a discovery, rather a sudden interest. The very first time i read my astrology sign, was a few months ago, and after reading it, i was a little shocked to know how i related closely to my sign. My sign is Gemini, The Twins. (May 30) Which people always think is somewhat two-faced. :/
Well i don't necessary like the term "two-faced", I prefer, "knowing both sides of an argument".

Anyhow, I found reading my astrology sign very interesting. It was also really interesting to read my friends signs and to see if my friends really relate to their star signs. And most of them do, shockingly. I used to not believe in star signs, but lately its arouses my interests. I found myself lately looking into it a little deeper, finding out about the planets that rule the star signs and about each decan/class of a star sign. Really interesting stuff, I gotta admit.

Another astrology i found interesting is the chinese astrology, aka the "East Astrology". I'm a Rat, So I read about the Rat Astrology and found it pretty interesting looking at. I became even more fascinated, when i combine both the west and east astrology, making me a "Gemini Rat" and to look deeper on what the astrology has to say about me.

Call me "Lovey-Dovey", but i also find "Compatibility" Astrology reads really interesting. Reading about theses present what relationships work well or not. For example, Gemini goes well with Aquarius or Libra but isn't so compatible with Scorpio or Capricorn. Or with the Rat, Rats are compatible with Dragons and Monkeys but not Horses. And testing this theory, i noticed i have lots of Libra Friends and find i get along better with them then my Scorpio or Capricorn Friends.






Stuff like "Communicative", "Active", which the astrology speaks off, i feel i can relate to. Some people may not believe in astrology so well, but once you read a bit into it, it can be kind of interesting. Especially when it seems true about you! so that you just read a passage that totally writes your personality! >.<

After a hard years of work, work , work... I have finally been rewarded a long holiday! Oh the excitement!
and I have many things to share! So Many things I've been through. BUT wait! This is the "Pit Of Wonders" ! So those adventures are probably going to be shared on the adventure log. But i have many new discoveries to share-- from hilarious to simply cute, or maybe even fascinating, it will definitely have you hooked for a while! ;)

Yes- it does contain custom content... but I will tell you where i got the custom content! You should know that you need the custom content or the sim won't appear in the game. If you don't know how put custom content in your game- maybe look it up google or be on the watch on my blog; perhaps I'll show how ;)


The sim is not a household- it is a sim; so it will appear in the sim log while you are in 'Create-A-Household.. or -Create-A-Sim"...Something like that...

Anyway! You'll need the Expansion Packs: Generations, Pets, Ambitions, Late Night and World Adventures. You'll need the Stuff Packs: Town Life, Fast Lane, High-End Loft and Outdoor Living.

Chuppizard's Music Training Ranch

The next blog will probably advertise my Sim; for now I wanted to advertise a sim lot.
I'll probably make better lots in the future (hopefully) but for now this lot in particular is called 'Band Training Ranch".  Simply a house where you can train 4 people to become a band or if its showtime; to train some people to be popstars.... Anyway its a simple ranch; it is kind of costly; but this can be solved by putting the household on a cheap or empty lot then pressing 'Ctrl + Shift + C' in your game and typing 'motherlode' until you can afford the house. Then obviously you move to the house.
Requirements: 
Sims Expansion Packs: Generations, Pets, Late Night, World Adventures and Ambitions

Anyway UPDATE!~
Extremely exciting news! I will be beginning to make Sims 3 items! in other words- Custom Content for the Sims 3 game! Some may be uplaoded here or in the Gamer Log for advertising. Anyhow; I'd open accounts like 'Mod the Sims' or the sims resource... and of course some will be uploaded here. I'm going to start leaning how to create custom content because there are some custom content which i want- but don't exist! So I cease to make it! And only i know what it is exactly. Firstly I'll upload my Sims and show where custom content the Sims has- and afterwards house and then clothing- IF POSSIBLE. I'm excited- don;t expect results immediately... I'm just getting started! maybe the custom content that I desire might be the custom content you've been looking for... who knows?

School's A bother. Study takes over my life. And I want Sims Showtime.

Yes. School is a bother now. Especially in year 11. Doing university pathway. it is everything that considers to be a bother. Let's consider teachers, study and homework which is now eating up every bit of life. My weekends become school and so does my holidays. One thing i'd wish to to have a gap year after year 12. Or perhaps have a holiday worth of 6 months. Another thing is the semester 1 exams. Ahhh when will go way school.. like for real. I hate life's harsh reality.. i hate life's economic world sometimes.... -___-
I hope my hard work pays off.. i want a good job!

Oh yeah, to the next topic-- SIMS SHOWTIME!! and SIMS MASTER SUITE!!
this is Sims 3 new expansion pack and stuff pack. Once again i'm waiting for steam to mark down the prices further. Sims 3 Showtime is the new expansion pack where your sims can become popstars!! :D
on steam it costs $40, but i'm waiting for a half price markdown- hopefully in july... if not i'd wait longer.
